ISO Certified Company Moves To Larger 30,000 SF Location
Ready to serve customers in medical, military/aerospace, semiconductor and industrial markets in their state of the art facility for 100% lead-free manufacturing
San Jose, CA March 27, 2006 – Nexlogic Technologies, Inc. has announced it has moved its PCB design, assembly, fabrication and procurement operations to a new 30,000 sf building. For the past 10 years since it began serving OEM customers, Nexlogic has had its operations in an 11,000 sf building. The move, which encompasses new equipment and services, marks a major turning point in Nexlogic's successful business serving medical, mil/aero, semiconductor, and industrial markets.
Nexlogic Technologies, a premier PCB EMS provider and ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer, increases its capabilities to support OEMs requiring 100 percent Pb-free manufacturing. Accordingly, the company has added a third surface mount line, a dedicated Pb-Free wave solder machine, automatic optical inspection (AOI), more enhanced BGA X-Ray capability, dedicated Pb-Free processes, nitrogen re-flow capability and other new enhanced capabilities.

Open House
Over 100 customers attended a recent open house at the new Nexlogic Technologies location at 2075 Zanker Road, San Jose, CA. Companies in attendance included Lumileds, Varian Medical Systems. The tour of the new facility began with a short five-minute video featuring the animated character Lead-free Lenny and how he destroys the lead monster. Then, customers were routed through various stages of Nexlogic's manufacturing processes to include SMT lines, reflow ovens, dual wave solder, Pb-free wave, BGA rework and advanced inspection, and others
At the end, customers were treated to a lunch of Uncle Frank's smoked beef brisket and smoked chicken that had been slowly smoked for 30 hours.
Nexlogic continues to build strong business momentum in its eleventh year by achieving ISO-Certification, dedicated SMT and Pb-Free processes, plus capacity to support many customers. This will help customers transition to 100% lead-free products with Nexlogic's Pb-Free transition team with trained personnel in purchasing, inventory management, fabrication and process control.
This includes board design layout, fabrication, assembly, component procurement, and related ancillary services, all at one San Jose, CA location. As a 10-year industry veteran, Nexlogic is ready to serve many major OEMs in R&D projects, for RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE compliance products and new technologies that requires state of the art facility in time to market issues.

Nexlogic president Zulki Khan discusses details of the new SMT line with various Bay Area product engineers. Mr. Khan explains the features of the new SMT line with an eight-zone nitrogen capable oven. In this case, nitrogen helps to decrease bridging in fine pitch components, as well as enhancing cosmetic features of Pb-free joints.
